658). Altamonte is listed in Helbock as a quite
scarce Seminole County DPO (1874-91,
R5 scarcity). Seminole County split from Orange County April 25,
1913, so the Altamonte
post office was part of Orange County during the entire time of its
existence. |

Apparently this short pay was accepted.
The remailing of the early first issue postal cards was rather uncommon
and the 1st class postage requirement probably not yet well recognized. |
